Ghoststar's Gone?

     What timing!?
Darkmoon couldn't help but think. Ghoststar had just left the other evening after the Gathering with Scorchtooth for some journey the white she-cat wouldn't explain. Why did I get stuck being Deputy to such a spontaneous leader! Of course, she was excited to know that she would be left in charge while Ghoststar was gone, she was confident; at first. Now she had begun to think about all that could happen while she was in charge: badgers could attack, foxes could invade, Roseclan could try to steal territory or prey, or a cat could get sick and Silverpaw, only an Apprentice, wouldn't know what to do.
The one thing Darkmoon hadn't considered was the one thing that happened. Two cats had shown up in the territory. One a strong ginger tom with white markings and the other a smaller gray dappled she-cat. Darkmoon had found them on moon high border patrol. The black she-cat had at first reacted with hostility, then with begrudging politeness when they asked to join. The thing was, Ghoststar wasn't here to give the meeting. Darkmoon paced inside the leaders den, trying to think of a names for the cats. She also had to remember what to say and who to give the foreign she-cat as a mentor. What if I mess up? What if I fail to show I can one day be a good leader?
Darkmoon stopped. She was over thinking things. Shaking out her glossy black pelt, she let go of her worries and mustered up her courage. I was chosen as Deputy. I'll show them why. The black she-cat slipped out of the den, seeing the clan crowded around the new comers. Cats of varying coats asked where they came from, why they left their old homes, and what they knew about clans. Darkmoon gathered up her hunches and leaped onto Twilight Rock in one bound. She glowed silver in the moon light. "Twilightclan!"
The cats turned their eyes, gleaming a green hue as the dim light reflected from them, toward their temporary leader. The red tom and dark female crept toward the front of the group. "We are here to welcome our two new members. They have sworn their loyalty to Twilightlcan and I now make them full members." She beckoned with her tail for the ginger tom to come forward first.
          "You will be known as-"
"Wait!" Darkmoon narrowed her green eyes as he spoke up. The clan was silent. Spade had done the same thing on his first day, wanting to keep his rouge name.
"I already have a warrior name. Its Redclaw." The tom stated with politeness.
Darkmoon flicked an ear. "Very well, Redclaw, you are now a member of Twilightclan as a Warrior." She briefly wondered why he left his other clan, but didn't say anything. The young she-cat stepped forward, keeping her head high. "You shall be known as Streampaw, your mentor will be Brownfur." She found the dusky brown she-cat an exceptional fighter and a good hunter too. A good choice. She thought proudly.
The clan cheered the new cats' names, always excited for new members. Darkmoon noticed she had been getting odd glances from the clan as to why she as the one giving the announcement. She wasn't surprised when a cat called out, "Where's Ghoststar? And Scorchtooth?"
"Ghoststar and Scorchtooth have gone on a..." She tensed her jaw, wondering how to answer this. She didn't know why they left and knew it would look bad if Twilightclan's leader didn't have a good reason for suddenly disappearing with their Medicine Cat. "journey to scout out new territory. Scorchtooth went with to check out the herbs." She hoped that was a legit enough reply. The cats didn't show it if they questioned her. The black she-cat leaped down from Twilight Rock and, with less formality, called out the night's assignments.
"Boulderclaw will go hunting with Owlpaw and Redclaw." She mewed. "Brownfur and Thistleclaw you can go training with Streampaw and Snowpaw." The border patrol already done she left everyone else to do as they pleased.

(Sooooo I know I haven't been on in awhile. We all have been kinda slacking but I know school is in and that means academics and after school activities. The rule that you should be popping in at least three times a week still stands, because its a pet peeve of mine to have inactive members. Kelly, I had to change Featherpaw's name to Streampaw because there's already a Featherpaw. Sorry! But I think Streamfeather works just as good as Featherstream, right? If not you can pick something else. Also, Spyre I had to change Spade's pic it wasn't working. If you don't like the one I picked I can change it for you. So everybody lets keep this community together and role play! =D)

  1. Boulderclaw andknodded then glanced at Redclaw with easy eyes.

Tawnynight was quiet but she was still upset about what happened. she knew he asked for a new mentor but had to try and change things."Hey...Talonpaw you uh...you wanna got train together?"she asked shyly with a sweet tone.

  2. Redclaw looked towards Boulderclaw nodding lightly. Then looked around at the other cats working and sharing tounges.

    Streampaw nodded with heavy excitment.

  3. Scorchtooth was grateful for his dark gray coat, which concealed him well into the darkness. He didn't know much about Ghoststar, though. But they wouldn't dare touch a medicine cat, would they? He laughed at the thought. Pah. They wouldn't know what hit 'em. "How far are we?" He asked, forgetting if they had passed the river yet.

Owlpaw padded over to Boulderclaw. "When are we leaving?" She yawned, flicking her tail.

  4. "Right now...come on."he said nudging Redclaw who was off doing his own thing.

  5. Ghowtstar felt vulnerable creeping through Roseclan territory. She had to though. She had to know where starclan wanted her to go. The white she-cat looked back at Scorchtooth. "I haven't been here before. I don't know, just keep your eye out for any signs from Starclan." She prayed the red cat would show up again.

Talonpaw looked at her. He had been staring at his paws through the whole meeting. His heart twinged. He wanted to, but she was a murderer now. He couldnt. "I..can't." He muttered, looking back down.

Snakefang congratulated Brownfur with a friendly mew. "Nice, you'be got an Apprentice." The dark tabby tom flicked an ear. "Male sure you show her that battle move I showed you, the ear swipe." He looked around for his own Apprentice.

  6. Spade gave Redclaw a narrowed eyed stare. A Clan cat walking away from their Clan and joining another Clan? That certainly wasn't trustworthy. The former rogue walked past Redclaw with a flick of his tail and snorted. Another thing that bothered him was the disappearance of the leader and the medicine cat. With Darkmoon the only authority here, and she didn't have full authority of the Clan to begin with, what was to say no sly cat wouldn't cause anarchy?

Brownfur nodded to Snakefang. "I certainly will show her the ear swipe. It's a very good move. Good luck to you with your apprentice." She purred and touched Streampaw's shoulder with her tail. She wasn't sure how to train a younger cat, but she knew where to start. "Would you like to have a tour of the territory?" She asked the smaller she-cat.

  7. Featherpaw looked up at Snakefang and twitched an ear. Redclaw was bothering her. He had left his own Clan and joined another; she wouldn't know much of that, as she was born in Twolegplace.

Darkmoon sighed. "I hope Ghoststar and Scorchtooth don't get harmed," she thought to herself, "I just hope I can take care of the Clan while they're gone.

  8. "Oh its..its okay Talonpaw..I understand."her cheerful spirits were pulled from her brown furred body..she turned and walked away with her head and tail low.

  9. Redclaw smile sweetly to Featherpaw showing kindness, but he didn't speak much. The rusty colored cat followed Boulderclaw without saying a word.

Streampaw bristled with the chills, "yeah! I can't wait till I become a warrior Redclaw tells me its a big job and its important to the whole clan that they are strong and willing!"she swirled around her new mentor.

  10. Snakefang waved good bye to Brownfur. He looked down at Featherpaw. "We'really going to practice hunting today." He mewed to his Apprentice. "But first, we have to help clean dens." He wasn't excited about that but tried to hide it.

Talonpaw felt terrible but didn't know what to do.

    ReplyDelete
  11. Tawnynight went out of camp to hunt and patrol.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Brownfur purred with a flicking tail. "It is important for the warriors to be strong and willing. If they aren't, who would hunt for and defend the Clan?" Her apprentice seemed promising: Streampaw was energetic and eageer. "Tomorrow we can begin hunting practice, but first you'll need to know your way around."

    ReplyDelete
  13. "Okay great i before I came here Redclaw taught me some moves."she tried to hold in her excitment.

    ReplyDelete
  14. "Oh, great," Brownfur commented. "Meaning that you are already a few steps closer to being a warrior. We'll perfect those moves of yours, don't worry." She purred. She looked at Snakefang and Featherpaw, who were given the task of cleaning dens today. Brownfur returned her attention to her apprentice. "Are you ready to go?"

    ReplyDelete
  15. Talonpaw wanted to see where Tawnynight was going. He was half suspicious she still had her Bloodclan duties she secretly did on the side. The Ginger tom crept after her, using all the tricks to being silent she had taught him.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Tawnynight headed to the river, "I'm gonna do it...the whole clan will be better off n so will Talonpaw, what is it i did i don't do anything for my worthless family if i did wouldn't i be more quiet, or hateful!?" she hissed walked back and forth batting at the ground with sharp razer like claws.

    ReplyDelete
  17. "Yeah I'm ready!" she danced around on her tip toes.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Featherpaw's ears flattened in distaste. Cleaning the dens was her least favorite job. But she stood up and nodded. "Got it," she mewed, "where do we start?"

    ReplyDelete
  19. "It's not that easy." He hissed irritably. "It's not like their every day things." He sniffed the air, pausing to see if he smelled anything unnatural, or that could lead them to somewhere. "Should we split up? We'll never find anything if we keep going on like this. Looks like that red cat of yours is too shy for the time being."

"Where should we hunt?" Owlpaw asked aloud, scratching the forest floor with anticipation. I'm going to bring back the most prey..!

    ReplyDelete
  20. Snakefang looked around. "Well, the Warriors den is the most crowded so we may as well do the hardest first." He flicked his Apprentice over the head with his tail. "Let's make it a little challenge? If I clean out the most moss then you have to eat a frog." His amber eyes gleamed. He knew how badly the slimy creatures tasted and there were plenty in the dark, humid forest.

Ghoststar flattened her ears. "Split up?" She scuffed the dirt with a paw. "In unknown territory?" Sensing the tom would have something rude to say about her cowardice, she nodded. "Alright, I'll go up the slope and you can to the side. We'll meet back here by this hallow tree, okay?" The white she-cat's fur pricked. She felt like they were being watched.

Talonpaw noticed she was heading for the border and heard bits of her words. She's leaving?? The ginger tom looked away, hidden in the ferns. It was probably for the best. She was a bad cat. She had killed. She was...She had...Talonpaw looked up suddenly, his brown eyes widening. "Tawnynight wait!!" He jumped out of the trees, stumbling in front of her.

  22. "What, what could you possibly want Talonpaw! Don't you see you've hurt me enough first you start ignoring me, and then it gets better, you go and ask for a new mentor! You think I'm evil, no I'm only the margin of evil...I'm not like my family, yeah I came from there, but that doesn't mean I'm like them..."she said turning to face him. Tears ran through her thick brown fur coming from her bright beautiful green eyes.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Brownfur lead the hopping apprentice out of the camp. She purred and lashed her tail, thinking the younger cat's excitement was adorable. "Now, if you go that way," she pointed with her tail to the west. "The training hollow is that way. You'll be there a lot while you're training. It's a clearing, so the thick brambles won't get in the way."

    ReplyDelete
  24. Streapaw stop for a moment imaging herself fighting there to be become a warrior, "Awesome..." in her mind a battle was going on between a group of rouges was going on and she make the same moves she saw in her head but she did them fill of mistakes. "Aha that one, there's two, and oh look three!"

    ReplyDelete
  25. It took Talonpaw by surprise, the hatred in her eyes. The ginger tom had to avert his gaze from her burning green eyes. "I..don't want you to go." He muttered quietly. Talonpaw heard Streampaw and Brownfur nearby and crouched out of instinct. What if he got saw alone with Tawnynight? Would they think he was a murderer too? No one but Ghoststar and Boulderclaw knew about her past...Still he didn't want to be caught alone with her.

    ReplyDelete
  26. "Why, why you don't even want to talk to me or even be alone with me so why stay I shouldn't have to distance myself from you...and I thought we had something but..I-I thought wrong...I guess it was only me..."she said turning her back to him sitting down with her head low.

    ReplyDelete
  27. "Cleaning out moss?" A mischievous appeared in her eyes. "You're on!"

    ReplyDelete
  28. Talonpaw crawled closer to her, his posture submissive. "Tawnynight, I was wrong. Those things happened in your past and I couldn't see that you had given them up." He sighed, sitting up a bit. "That's why I don't want you to leave...Because of our...friendship." He blurted out awkwardly.

Snakefang purred, racing to the warriors den. "I hope you're ready to eat frog, because I'm going to win!" He started pulling up the mossy nests and tucking them under his chin, careful not to drop any. It was a painstaking process.

    ReplyDelete
  29. "See not I didn't just see you as a friend!!"she pulled away from him. "I saw you has something more but now you're just another cats to me good bye Talonpaw..."she walked aaway no longer feeling a pain in her chest now all she felt was a dark damp coldness that swirled and filled her whole body.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Talonpaw sighed heavily. He thought she meant more to him to but after finding out what she was he could never see her in a loving way again. "I wont stop you, Tawnynight." He mewed after her. "But at least I tried to save our friendship."

    ReplyDelete
  31. She didn't leave she just went for a walk alone. "I don't need you...I have always need only myself...its been that way since I was born..."

    ReplyDelete
  32. Featherpaw grinned and leaped in after him, clumping moss in teeth and snagging a few bits in between her claws

    ReplyDelete
  33. Talonpaw looked as she walked away. "But you're letting the clan down!"

Snakefang stumbled, sending moss flying everywhere. "That's a foul, you tripped me!" He teased.

    ReplyDelete
  34. She just ignored him contiuing to walk away. Tawnynight got back to camp like her oldself but more quiet then before sadness didn't fill her eyes darkness did.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Talonpaw didn't head back to camp for awhile. When he did come back he ran into Snowpaw. "Oh, sorry..." He muttered, feeling a heavy weight in his stomach.

    ReplyDelete
  36. "Ugh oh its fine."She said blushing. "What's wrong?"Snowpaw asked curling her tail to his leg.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Talonpaw edged away slightly. "Nothing, just tired." He muttered, his ginger tail tip twitching and his ears flat.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Snowpaw rolled her eyes, "Does it involve Tawnynight?"she said walking up beside him, and her voice spat out the name with hate and disgust.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Talonpaw glanced up suddenly. "How would you know that?" He sat on a patch of moss by the Apprentice den. He wondered if the brown tabby warrior had left the clan or chosen to stay. "Have you seen her?" The ginger tom also wondered why Snowpaw had such hate for Tawnynight.

    ReplyDelete
  40. "Yeah she told me to tell you that she never really like you and that you were annoying..."Snowpaw purred slightly at the harsh lie. She bit back at her devilish smile that decided to creep up on her face.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Talonpaw flattened his ears, his mouth gaping open slightly. "What?" He noticed her expression and backed away. "That..that can't be true!" He spat, his claws unsheathing. As before, with his anger flaring, he imagined tearing into her but didn't dare move a muscle.

    ReplyDelete
  42. "Its true...you were right about her."she said sticking up her nose.

Tawnynight came out of the warrior's den streching with a yawn. She noticed Talonpaw but didn't show that she noticed.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Talonpaw's lip curled. "There's nothing wrong with Tawnynight. She's a good cat. A strong warrior. And a great mentor." He lashed his bushy tail, his flat face a mask of anger. "You don't talk about my friend that way."

    ReplyDelete
  44. "Hey I'm just saying Talonpaw don't get all defencive about it she isn't that great I'm ten times better."she turned her head with a snap her eyes flashing with anger.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Talonpaw let his hackles drop, giving up the aggressive posture. "You're right." He mewed. "Better at being a fox-heart." And walked away toward the fresh-kill pile.

    ReplyDelete
  46. "What's your problem you fox dung!?"she nipped at his tail as he walked away. "I was talking to you!"Snowpaw stood her fur bristled as she shoved past Tawnynight to get to the apperentice's den."Hey watch where you are going apperentice why don't you make yourself useful for once and go hunting or something!" Hissed Tawnynight. "What did you say?" "Oh I didn't say it I. Ordered it!" Snowpaw turned around with claws unsheathed batting her across the head. Tawnynight had pounched onto the she-cat dirt and twigs shuffled as did fur.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Talonpaw swung his head back as he heard the commotion. He watched, dumbstruck, unsure what to do.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Tawnynight had the upper hand when she swipped Snowpaw's paws out from under her. The brown she-cat bit at the other cats forearm. "Okay okay stop you're hurting me!"she squirmed out from under Tawnynight. Blood dripped slowly from Tawny's mouth she slowly licked it taking in the bitter taste knowing the blood was hers. "Now go hunting! Now!" Snowpaw ran out of camp with a limp.

    ReplyDelete
  49. Talonpaw couldn't drag his gaze away. Tawnynight was a killer. He had seen it then. She attacked her own clanmate. The ginger tom backed a few paces, then raced into the Apprentice Den.

    ReplyDelete
  50. Tawnynight watched him run to the den but she just walked away to go wash herself up.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Brownfur purred with amusement, her tail lashing. "What are you doing, Streampaw?" She asked with a mrrow of laughter. "Fighting rogues, I take it? You'll be a marvelous warrior."

    ReplyDelete
  52. Spade watched as Twanynight lashed at Snowpaw. He tilted his head and hummed quietly. Anarchy. So it seems. These cats were going insane. The former rogue pushed himself up and strode around the camp, tail kinked over his back. He soon found the black-furred deputy and padded up to her. He said lowly, "Darkmoon, I must speak with you."

    ReplyDelete
  53. "Yeah I am haha!"she purred licking her mentor on the shoulder with a friendly smile. Streampaw slowly calmed down walking next to Brownfur, she felt like she had a family one she never had the chance to have.

    ReplyDelete
  54. Brownfur brushed her tail against Streampaw's shoulder. 'You'll get the chance to fight rogues eventually,' she thought bitterly. If there were loners who wanted to join a Clan, where were rogues who wanted to take it over. Her and Streampaw continued on. "Over here, there's a bare pine tree that apprentices can learn to climb trees. You better not climb this without a warrior present until you, yourself, are a warrior," she said firmly, but playfully.

    ReplyDelete
  55. She nodded smiling looking around with wide green eyes.

    ReplyDelete
  56. Brownfur was pleased that she got such a gentle apprentice. Such an apprentice who would listen carefully to her words and could possibly repeat them back perfectly. She saw enough younger loners who refused to listen to any advice. The two she-cats continued on, Brownfur explaining where borders ended and where others began. "The Clan closest to us is RoseClan. Just recently we arranged a peace with them. I don't know how long it will last, but it stands. Maybe you will be called to the next Gathering and will be able to meet them. I had that honor. They are kind cats, much better than any loner or rogue I have met."

    ReplyDelete
  57. "I'm gonna try everything just so I can go!!"she purred happily.

    ReplyDelete
  58. Brownfur purred happily at the younger cat's ambition. "Good. We'll perfect every technique." She sniffed at a border, and noticed that it was stale. The patrol must have not gotten to this part of the territory yet. "Would you like to renew the scent markings for the first time?" She asked Streampaw.

    ReplyDelete
  59. "Sure."she rolled around on the floor leting her scent soak in the ground and bushes.

    ReplyDelete
  60. Featherpaw just grinned, "You didn't put out any rules!"

    ReplyDelete
  61. "We have a plan - that's a start. And try not to shout if your 'friend' shows up. We're already taking a chance by coming into this territory... How about we come back here in 10 minutes? That should give us enough time." He noticed his leader's ears prick and sarcastically commented, "What is it? Don't tell me you're over thinking this. You're a leader of a Clan for StarClan's sake! If you can't handle a little night mission then how are you going to handle a Clan?" Although he was making his usual retorts, he glanced over his shoulder - just to check.

Owlpaw waited anxiously, tasting the air for any scent or giveaway for prey.

    ReplyDelete
  62. "Good," Brownfur said with approval. "Even though we're at peace with RoseClan at the moment, we cannot be lax and not refresh our borders. Each morning, patrols are formed to either hunt for the Clan or go out to check the borders, and then mentors and apprentices are allowed to go train. It's a very organized system."

    ReplyDelete
  63. "Yeah it is Ghoststar must have done this sort of thing before, I'm guessing."

    ReplyDelete
  64. "I'm not over thinking anything! I'm just being alert..." Ghoststar snapped, her blue gray eyes flashing. "10 minutes sounds fine. See you then." She pivoted on her hind paw and stormed up the slope, irritated her nervousness was that obvious. I'm a great leader and I can handle this... She caste her gaze around, hoping to catch sight of a glittering apparition. Starclan, if you can hear me..please give me another sign. I need to find this place of dreams so I can be Twilightclan's real leader!

"No rules huh?" The dark tabby tom's amber eyes glinted with mischief. He jumped at the Apprentice, scattering her moss. "No we're even." He laugh scrambling to pick up his pile over again.

    ReplyDelete
  65. Boulderclaw walked through the brushes looking around. "This is where our border line is learn the smell and you'll be fine. On the other side of the territory, towards the south there is Roseclan. So learn the two quickly and well you know what to do if they come over here.."

    ReplyDelete
  66. (Sorry guys...I forgot about him)

    ReplyDelete
  67. Scorchtooth didn't bother replying, he already knew she was bounding off in the opposite direction. If her snow pelt doesn't land us in trouble, her footsteps certainly will! He thought exasperatingly. He turned around and began to survey the new area, much slower than his leader's pace. We've seen nothing at all..! Should we turn back?

Owlpaw huffed. "Can't we do this later? If we came on a hunting patrol we might as well hunt! This is starting to get as boring as a border patrol.." She grumbled.

    ReplyDelete
  68. "Then go if you're so eager to go hunting!" He hissed bitterly turning his head to the she-cat. His eyes were darkened with annoyance as they narrowed through her fur.

    ReplyDelete
  69. Redclaw's gaze slowly followed the gray tom's gaze not showing anycare for her comments.

    ReplyDelete
  70. Featherpaw squeaked. "Hey!" And growled playfully and started to recollect her moss.

    ReplyDelete
  71. Owlpaw's tail shot straight up. "Thank you!" She meowed, sarcasm dripping in her voice as she trotted away. "I'll make sure to catch the fattest prey they've ever seen!" She gloated to herself as she kept her mouth parted, drinking in the scents, trying to detect any sense of prey. Hmm.. A squirrel.. Off to the right.. She swiveled her head around, seeing the gray rodent poke around some leaves, and she instinctively dropped into a hunter's crouch. What a lucky find..! She thought as she carefully placed her paws in front of herself, pouncing when she was about a fox tail length away. "Haha! Gotchya!"

    ReplyDelete
  72. Boulderclaw rolled his eyes turning back to Redclaw. "Anyway, do you have any questions before we continue?"

    ReplyDelete
  73. Redclaw switched his gaze to Blouderclaw and shook his head. He continued to walk with Blouderclaw listening and watching everything that was shown to him.

    ReplyDelete
  74. "Well that's the whole territory, so congratulations you a finished your first task. But now here's another one that we were really sent out for. Go my brother, go hunt for your new clan and make us proud!" he said through slight laughs. "No but really go and hunt I feel like I'm boring you..." the gray tom flicked his shoulder with his long tail as he walked off towards a scent trail.

    ReplyDelete
  75. Redclaw nodded slightly laughing at Boulderclaw's comment. he headed towards a small hollowed out tree and found a small mouse cleaning its muzzle with a lick of the paws and rub to the face. The bright ginger tom crouched carefully taking in the sweet scent of the small creature. Then when he was ready he jumped swiftly through the thick undergrowth softly landing on the prey killing it quickly. Redclaw picked it up walking towards soft grown easy for digging, and placed it there heading out for one more attempt of fresh kill.

    ReplyDelete
  76. Brownfur curled her tail around her hind leg and nodded. "Perhaps we did. We've went through most of the territory, Streampaw. If you ever get confused on where something is, do not hesitate to ask. Now, I think we have a bit of time to kill. Care to go learn how to hunt?"

    ReplyDelete
  77. "No need Redclaw got that cover had already got that cover he taught me in case he died or something like that...and don't worry I'm not the quiet type he is so i'll ask if need be." She purred blinking her eyes sweetly hoping she wasn't annoying to her mentor about being a know it all.

    ReplyDelete
  78. Snakefang had his first bundle outside. He rushed back in and scooped up more moss. "Looks like you're going to be eating that frog, huh!"

Ghoststar wasn't seeing anything. The air was cool and cold, its chill beginning to sink through her fur. "Where are you?" She muttered, hoping starclan might here. They had spent enough time in Roseclan territory, the smell was making her fur bristle. What if they had gone on forbidden territory for nothing? Suddenly, there was motion that caught Ghoststar's attention. A dark red pelt was manifesting right beside her. The white she cat dared turn her head: her breath caught in her throat as a cat was right beside her, looking at her with faded green eyes. The moment was fast, for the figure turned and briskly headed farther into the woods, its image faltering slightly. "Scorchtooth!!" Ghoststar hissed as quietly as she could, but still catch his attention. There was no time to wait for him, she dashed through the trees after the starlit cat.
